Beverley Dippenaar

I obtained a national diploma for Graphic Design at Bloemfontein Technicon which laid the foundation of my career.

Worked as a graphic designer in the textile and paper printing industry for 12 years, then in 2003 I followed my passion and started a graphic design business in Hermanus.

In 2009, Colourpix was born, always pushing the design team to strive to be professional, reliable and maintain work ethics.

Creativity has always been a part of who I am. Throughout school, Art was my strongest subject, and I always dreamed of becoming an animator, combining my love for drawing with storytelling.

I joined the family business, Colourpix, when my mom needed someone to fill the role of a graphic designer. At the time, I had no experience in the industry and was definitely thrown in at the deep end.

It was a steep learning curve, but I adapted quickly, and what started as helping out soon became a genuine passion. I rapidly transitioned from a beginner to an advanced professional through intensive dedication, quickly mastering industry tools and design principles to lead high-impact visual projects.

I earned a national certificate in Graphic Design from CTU Training Solutions in Pretoria.

Following that, I worked as a graphic designer at a signage company, gaining four years of experience in the signage industry.

When my family decided to relocate to the Western Cape, I chose to move with them. A few months later, I joined Colourpix, where I further developed and refined my graphic design skills.

I enjoy problem-solving and pattern recognition, and I have a variety of hobbies. As a creative individual, I believe I am a good fit for the team at Colourpix.
